Tra passioni equestri e campioni
Tra le colline che collegano la provincia di Pisa e Lucca si trova Valle Azzurra: 6 ettari di coltivazioni nel bel mezzo del Parco naturale delle Cerbaie e sulla via Francigena. Questa Valle fino a 10 anni fa ha ospitato un importante allevamento di cavalli da trotto grazie alla passione e alla competenza del suo fondatore il dottor Attilio Gronchi che nel 1979 acquistò questa valle per le sue grandi potenzialità territoriali e ambientali per far crescere al meglio questi splendidi equini.
Come si nota anche dal logo di Valle Azzurra i cavalli sono ancora parte integrante della valle e del DNA della famiglia Gronchi.
Infatti una parte della valle è dedicata all’equitazione di campagna per mezzo dei quattro cavalli ancora presenti.
Between equestrian passions and champions
Between the hills that connect the province of Pisa and Lucca is Valle Azzurra: 6 hectares of crops in the middle of the Cerbaie Natural Park and on the Via Francigena. This Valley up to 10 years ago hosted an important breeding of trotting horses thanks to the passion and expertise of its founder, Dr. Attilio Gronchi who in 1979 bought this valley for its great territorial and environmental potential to make these splendid equine.
As can also be seen from the Valle Azzurra logo, horses are still an integral part of the valley and of the DNA of the Gronchi family.
In fact, a part of the valley is dedicated to horse riding in the countryside by means of the four horses still present.
